Hello fellow forum members,

does anyone know how I can find the hottest categories currently on ebay? I mean, the categories that sell the most items.
I know that through ebay pulse I can find bestselling products, but I'm really looking for categories.

George, some of the most popular categories include consumer electronics -- buyers are always wanting the latest electronic products. The iPhone is really hot right now. Videogame systems and accessories are always very popular, especially the newest system. Gamers are always looking for games and accessories to add to their collections. Even some of the old videogame systems sell well. These are just a few of the most lucrative niches, hope this helps.

This page shows you several lists including popular searches, some of the best eBay stores, popular products, highest priced items, most watched items and more. This is your chance to study where the best money is being made on eBay. Study the trends, strategies and techniques used by both buyers and sellers.

One more thing is, whenever I find seller with some great bargains through in the past. I add them to my favorite sellers list, I do the same with my SilkFair account too.

a little research is what i find works best... you can do it on ebay, or participate in forums like this

the problem is, a lot of times the items aren't what's hard to find... it's creating a catchy item line and sales page that works magic.

of course ebay pulse can give you recent hot categories.

ebay pulse is good also go to google trends and see whats being searched for the most

Electronics and Clothing are on top ( i think ). A little research will do.
