There are many easy ways to make great cash off eBay.

One of my favourites is to buy stock from my own suburbs. This can be bought a garage sales and is a FANTASTIC way to make cash FAST !

Often I have bought large appliance such as a fridge for small amounts and made around 3 times the original amount spent. This is pretty good money for around 1 hours work.

It is important that the items are bought at a cheap price so you can make a good profit.

I also once made $5000 in 4 weeks using a different technique which was UNBELIEVABLE! This was part time too !

Anyone can do this and I encourage you to give it a go!

Would you say that garage/yard sales can be profitable?

Buying things from garage sales and selling on eBay is very profitable. Parttime it is easy to make an extra $300 a week for just a few hours on the weekend.

Negotiate hard and you will not spend much. Its all in the negotiation techniques - the harder you negotiate the more profit you make.

I guess in most areas, yard sales will start to decline due to the cold weather :(

I guess you can say it is a seasonal supplier!

I know people who go out with bags of quarters to garage sales and buy all the old clothes, wash them and put them on Ebay for excellent profits.

I guy sold a jacket for $29, not bad for a quarter! :-D

Get up early on Saturday morning. Do a search online on your local paper – if they have an online service.

Search for ‘fridges’.

Go to the Yard Sales that sell fridges. Fridges are expensive new and second hand ones sell for good money.

You will need a trailer or ute – and a strong back or helper.

When you find a good fridge – offer below half of what they are asking. i.e. if they are asking $200 – offer $80 or $90.

Always offer just below what you would like to pay for it. Then you can come up a bit to save face.

9 times out of 10 – you will get it at that price.

Take your new fridge home. Wipe it over and take heaps of photos. Upload to eBay using photobucket (free).

Don’t lie it down in the trailer – keep it standing upright as you transport it. You will need some good ropes and roping skills….!

Once you get it home – let it sit for a few hours before you turn it on.

Put it on eBay for $1 – no reserve and watch people fight over it. Fridges sell well as new ones are expensive. Go for the good looking second hand ones not the rust ones and make sure it works before you take it home.

Most times you can double your money - Not bad for a few hours work. You need to negotiate HARD though - this is when you make your money - when you buy it.

Good Luck !

garage sales are good, but I think that auctioned storage units are better

It has been a while since I have sold on ebay. I found the garage sale information interesting. I know when I have a garage sale people that come offer me a LOT less than I am asking.

How in the world do you ship a refrigerator?

I also went to those storage unit auctions. The problem I had was I usually got outbid. Other people that do it on a regular basis have the storage areas to keep all the stuff. That is also an issue.

I prefer to purchase smaller items that are easier to handle. Thanks for sharing the info.
