Hi
As you are no doubt aware, getting people to leave you feedback after a sale is very hit and miss.
The method I use involves either an email or a note in a package, both have a similar message.
I simply inform the buyer, saying:

Thank you for your business
I have left feedback for you, please do the same for me.
Feedback tells me you received the item.
Kind Regards
Expitlad

I would estimate my feedback now runs at 95% since doing this 6 months ago.
I think it works for me .
Has anyone any different methods that they believe work?

Don't leave feedback first as a seller. Leave feedback second. Less people might give you feedback, but less will neg you wrongly as well. I have several hundreds of feedbacks at 98% so far! Smile

I agree with kemus, as a seller, do not leave feedback before buyers leave feedback for you. There are lots of unreasonable buyers nowadays and many scam buyers, you have nothing to fall back if your buyer trying to be funny, if you leave feedback before them.

That sounds like a great message & tactic to get the most feedback, I'll try it out and report back how it works for me.

depending on the volume of your sales, it may be worth investing in Selling Manager Pro - costs a few quid per month, but the automation is a godsend - automated replies to feedback, feedback reminders, payment reminders, relisting of auctions all handled with minimal input.

It also has some very handy reporting functionality - all your transactions can be downloaded and analyzed.

I like the idea at the beginning of thread because it also shows the buyer that an active interest has been shown in them.

I've had plently of buyers simply not leave feedback as well. I've usually been waiting to leave feedback until they leave a positive first as well.
