does it do anygood? surely it is upto ebay+paypal to stop them once and for all and not dependant on its users to do all the work

I imagine that eBay/PayPal do something about it. I believe that the spoof emails and phished accounts cause as much hassle for eBay/PayPal as they do for those whose accounts are spoofed. I usually send the emails to eBay/PayPal, but that's just despite the spoofer.

I do the same, but I also use http://www.phishfighting.com/ to despite the spoofer.

you can't stop them there are new people finding out about phishing everyday and are doing it.

Thanks for the url! I almost got scammed by one of these ebay phishing emails and was so mad that someone could be so sneaky. The login page that the link they sent me looked identical to an ebay login page. I couldn't believe it! These people can be so sneaky ... You have to be really careful!
