I get a LOT of EBAY Spam when I try to sell anything related to XBOX or XBOX 360 stuff...

====================================

That is a sample of what I get.. It's pretty much all the same type.. I especially liked the one that began, "Dear Honoriffic Friend"... What the FRACK is an "Honoriffic" Friend?? Is that like a cross between Honorable and Terrific?? :D

Anyways, I was just wondering if anyone else sees these.. I checked with a couple friends who do EBAY Selling a LOT more than I do and they have never gotten a one.

Thanx

Certainly seems to be :)

I use to get these all the time, but haven't received any for a while. Do you report them to eBay or just delete them?

I just deleted them.. They are more annoying then anything else...

But, now I am beginning to think it's something more sinister..

Check my TAG TEAM SCAMMERS thread in a few moments and you'll understand...

I am beginning to think there is a DIRECT correlation between the EBAY SPAM I receive and Scam Bidders on my auctions..

This latest auction:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... :IT&ih=011

involves another Hi-Tech item. Right before the auction ended, I received THIS SPAM:

==============================
Dear Sir/Madam:

Thanks for your precious time to visit our website!
We are the foreign trade electrical products wholesaler.
Please see more details on our website and hope you will find
the products which you like here:
web <www.gxnfc518.com>
E-mail ="mailto:gxnfc518@hotmail.com">gxnfc518@hotmail.com
MSN ="mailto:gxnfc518@hotmail.com">gxnfc518@hotmail.com

Best regards,
Hailong Co., LTD.

And then the high bidder hasn't had any feedback since Jan of '07.

Once or twice, I can see being a coincidence... But 4 times is just too much of a coinky dink for my tastes..

I just received a phone call from the high bidder in the above mentioned auction.

They had not made an EBAY bid or purchase in months..

Another scammer....

Jeeeeze, does my cologne attract these luzers!???

You may want to think about opening another account, as your current one certainly seems to attract the worst in people.

Keep us informed.
