I have been selling on ebay for a while and now I want to get more serious and file tax to IRS. But being a new immigrant to the US, I really do not know how to start although I've been asking around and reading articles online. So I want to see if anyone has the same experience here can help me out. Thank you!
The following are my questions:
1. Do I only have to file self-employment tax using my SSN ?
2. Can I use Cash Method to record my ebay sales (I bought wholesale lots off from Ebay and re-sell on ebay)?
3. How do I keep auto mileage record?
4. When should I start filing taxes? What forms do I need? Do I have to pay taxes quarterly?
Sorry for having so many questions. But I really want to know the steps of filing tax if I buy & resell stuff on ebay. I am a full time seller on ebay and am trying to earn a little for my living. So any advice is appreciated. Thanks!
