Hello,

I have a couple of important questions regarding selling on ebay.

1. How excactly are you supposed to pay your ebay fees, where to find information about it and how is it done? I have sold a couple of items with a fixed price, but, to my knowledge, only paypal has taken it's taxes, while ebay hasn't. Where could I find info about my debt to ebay and how do I pay it?

2. When I tried to post a second item on ebay, it gave me a warning, that my listing would be checked and that I was highly recommended to show proof that the items are authentic by writing a serial number or showing some kind of a certificate. The problem is, I am selling perfume, and the serial number is located only on the bottle, so, in order to see it, I would have to open the box and it wouldn't be "new&sealed" anymore. And I don't get certificates, because I do not get my items in such big amounts to get them. What could I do to prove, that the items are legit? Would a picture of it be sufficent?

Thank you very much for the answers in advance, I know these questions are probably noob, but I'm just starting off and it's a bit complicated :)

Hi! Here's a link to eBay information outlining the seller policy and all the fees to be expected, including information on how to pay them - http://pages.ebay.com/help/sell/seller-fees.html

eBay is very strict in curtailing fake goods being listed, and they and here's a link to their listing policy - http://pages.ebay.com/help/policies/listing-ov.html Is there a way you can ask your supplier to provide proof of authenticity, including serial numbers? Some provide a receipt that shows the item has been sourced from a legitimate channel. Hope this helps.
