Ebay shut one of my listings down because they said it was illegal and against the copyright act, even though my wholesaler confirmed the items as genuine.
Here's the good bit. My advert was along the same lines as any other selling that item. The image came from my wholesaler, so no copyright problem there.
I refer to Boxset DVD's. i.e The Sopranos and Charmed. Ebay said mine were fake, even though they never saw one. Warner Brothers said that because they come from China, they are fake.
So, if both Warner Brothers and EBay agree the DVD's are fake, why are they letting certain traders sell the very same DVD's from the Very same Wholesaler on EBay?
By their own admission, they say the discs are fake, but STILL allow some traders to sell them on EBay.
I asked EBay to explain, and guess what? Yes I got a reply from their computer! DOH!
Who is policing EBay, is it traders shopping traders in order to make more money for themselves? EBay say they are a safe place to shop, yet they would not know if terrorists were selling goods to fund wars unless someone told the right people, not EBay because they would let the computer send a standard reply!!

There is NO ONE policing Greed-Bay! Just a bunch of low pay out sourced people who do not even have a consistant policy.

Do you know why your auctions were taken down? Just because someone of e-bay's big powersellers did not like your competition!

Once you get just to the 2nd level of Power Seller, you get a 9:AM to 5:PM phone number to call....maybe you get an answer, maybe not!, but once you reach THE SHOOTING STAR POWER SELLER LEVELS, you get a 24/7 phone number that goes directly to your rep. Just a phone call to him can get any us us little suckers down here booted....either just a listing, or even your entire site.

There is NO CUSTOMER SERVICE for the Greet-Bayer who only sells a few thousand $$ a month! In fact many of your e-mails are not even read! You just get some (usually not applicable) auto response sent that does not even apply.
