Dropshipping is quite an amazing concept. Unfortunately finding a quality dropshipper that isnt out to make some quick money and scam you is easier said than done!

It's the 'real deal' for the drop shipping company! Like prosniper I agree it's a great concept, but after researching and trying a few, then researching and trying a few more I'm just not a big fan.

IT's real but real hard to find a good dropshipper. Most of the items are crap and cost TOO much. If you find a niche market then you will be able to tone your search down. If you google World Wide Brands you can watch 5 free videos on their site. They offer a service that allows you to find drop shippers. Just keep in mind that you shuld NEVER pay a monthly fee to drop ship.

Good Luck!!!

Drop Shippers are they good or bad.
Some are Good! Some are Bad! Some are Both!

There is a lot of homework/research you must do before signing up for just any old Drop Shipper site that promises the world.

There are quite a few things to consider when using a drop shipper.
There are not in any particular order.

Is the Drop shipper I am considering reputable? If so by what sources?
Like The BBB?

Will I be selling these products on a website or auction market such as eBay?

Are the drop shippers prices low enough so I will be competitive on eBay?

Is there a monthly membership fee?

Do they charge a separate drop shipping fee?

Will my product be shipped in my business name or theirs?

How long before they actually process and ship my order to my customer?

Whats my drop shippers return policy?

How do I get a refund for a lost or damaged product?

How often does my drop shipper change inventory?

Does the drop shipper require any written or faxed verification of my identity before I can place an order with them?

Does the drop shipper require me to submit my social security # or EIN before I can order?

These are just a few of the questions off the top of my head you should ask before before choosing a drop shipper. I will add more as I think of them.

I just don't think they work...even if there is a good dropshipper out there...many many sellers are going find out about it and they are going to use it...once that happens...profit margin thins out...

thats exactly my problem.

Unless you are selling very cheap 2nd rate good for next to nothing, the quality stuff has no margin. :(

No money in drop shipping. Most dropshippers are just middlemen inflating shipping. The best thing to do is find your own supplier.

I've heard of people who've made mega-bucks with drop shipping.

One makes 7-figures each year consistently.

But yeah, you need to find reliable ones :)

I've heard of people who were succesful with drop shipping but as mentioned above you have to find the right supplier who isn't just going to give you the run around and leave you with less money than when you started.

It took some trial and error but I eventually found a company that offers spy cameras & surveillance equipment that I sell on eBay and my website while they handle the supply and shipping.

http://www.nadea.com

I recommend them to others and can vouch for their service. This type of product is very popular and are an easy sell to people who want a cool new gadget to play with.

It is out of doubt that drop shipping is a new business model, and internet make it easy and bloom!
Before you start the dropshipping, please conside the following:
1.Study the items you want to sell
Is it easy to sell? search some auction site or similar, some website have wanted items section, check the keyword and fine the frequency.
2.Select the dropshipping provider
As we know, goods source is very important for business success. a good dropshipping srvice provide always stand up with reseller.
For example, The provide can pack the parcel smaller to easy pass the destination country customs(for international dropshipping). for the small items, the buyer(not the reseller) may not pay on the import tax,(Of course, the value show on airbill must be small). This will make the buyer happy, and have good experience with reseller.
Of course, the dropshipping provide will leave blank on the name and address of sender,or just fill in the reseller's infomation
3.More shipping options: the buyer may be cost sencetive, in this situation, it must conside the one who can provide the cheaper shipping way.
4.Payment option: paypal is best choice at the begining of the business.
