If you have your auction end at times people are not in front of their comptures then you will not get as many people bidding. You should never have your auction end during the Super Bowl, American Idol, the State of the Union, etc. Also, the time it ends is important. For example, who is up at 3am to bid on a knitting set? Research other bids and see which time bids in your niche get the most traffic.

NOTE: Did you know that the biggest mistake new eBay sellers make is that they forget to use the 80/20 rule? Send me a message and I'll tell you more.

Out of interest, how do US sellers plan their timing strategy across multiple time zones? It's easy n the Uk - only GMT to worry about!
