Once you have a previously suspended account, a new account is not permitted to be opened...and they will track it down. They do have alot of other ways to find linked accounts than just addresses, names and IP addresses as previously mentioned. I generally think its more than a coinsidence that you received 3 or 4 unpaid item strikes from different sellers.....they all couldn't of been wrong....just my opinion, but i think history really repeats itself if its deserved.

I agree entirely. I've had one non paying bidder send me emails daily, asking me to remove the strike as he was about to be suspended. If you don't pay at least have the decency to communicate with the seller & they may be more likely to have select a mutual agreement not to proceed.

E-bay Live Chat, or Live help is a very bad joke! Usually Some idiot that has a bunch of canned responsed to post, which rarely apply to your needs.

On the contrary, I've been helped by the "live chat" feature. I like it. So far anyway.

I had a situation where my step daughter opened an account several years ago in my name with all my information so when I opened an account about 2 weeks later they closed it stating I was linked to another account I sent them proof of who I was and where I lived everything they asked for, they reopened my account now they did it again the day after I listed tons of stuff which took awhile now they expect me to pay all the fees even though they weren't there for 24 hrs, yet they have still not told me what was on the account etc they gave me the ebay name and I have tried to guess the password but since she opened it on my computer which would be the same ISP address I don't know whatelse to do but thankfully I don't rely on ebay for my living

Did you give your step daughter permission to use all your information?

Given the amount of fraud in the online marketplace these days, surely you can understand eBay's position regarding duplicity.

Don't worry, Ebay Customer Support is a law unto them selves...

I had my account limited in September to 50% of previous sales, as a Powerseller that really hurt...this was due to my feedback "not being acceptable" at 96.9% positive on 2500 transactions in 12 months.

When i spoke to Powerseller Support, I was told by a French Gent that they will NO Longer provide support for me, because of this, so I emailed everyone who had left neutral and neg feedback even the deadbeats who DIDNT Pay and had the feedback removed - AGAINST MY GUT FEELINGS!

I called back 5 days later and spoke to a USA Gent who then re-instated my selling status. Then 2 weeks later, I had Powerseller Support Contact me and tell me to improve my sales to keep the status - so I told them to shove the Powerseller Status up their ar**

It goes to show, the custoemr service is next to zero and NEVER in the favour of a seller.
