Though not exactly new to eBay, I've recently been having a slight problem with my listings. eBay is removing some but not all of my auctions though none of my store items, which are identical to my auctions.

The reason given is "circumvention of fees" and they site an external email address I've included incase some one wanted more than one item of the listed auction item. Easy enough to fix. BUT!

I stylized my listing after looking at several very large sellers. . . .copying success! Everything seemed to be going along just fine until just the last couple of weeks when occasionally out of the blue, 5 or 6 auctions would be removed.

Unlike the bigger sites/ebay stores and auctions, I don't have a direct link to my web site or brick and mortar store address or an 800 number where I could easily upsell and skip ebay and PayPal altogether. I'm small potatoes.

Are there separate terms and conditions for volume sellers? If so, where can I find those terms and conditions?

This difference in applying listing rules, creates a very distinct, noncompetitive and unfair selling advantage. What do you think?

Over the years, I've had auctions cancelled for "Circumvention Of Fees" as well.

Ebay linking policy clearly states that you can include one link to your email address, so this should never had been used as a reason for ending your auctions.

Of course, there aren't separate terms and conditions for volume sellers - however as you'll have experienced ebay don't universally enforce the rules.

Humm? Perhaps there is something else going on I am not getting.

In the past, I've had an an occosional listing removed for some samll infractions that were "fixed" but it's starting to feel personal and I'm way to small to be of any interest to eBay.

I can choose not to list on eBay and squeek-on my merry way or I can ROAR at the lion. Who knows, I might be heard.

Bottom line is this duality and arbitrary application of the rules is unfair and ripe for all it's members (buyer and sellers) to push for equal footing and treatment.

It could be that a powerseller competitor is making a lot of noise about your listings, using anything to try and get rid of the competition. I'm sure this happens with some regularity.
