Yes you can make money on Ebay, but do your research. Look at how many of a certain product is for sale and how many bids on average they get. If you find a great product but no one is looking for it, its not worth your while. Don't expect to be a Powerseller overnight. Try several dropshippers and pick the one that has the best products for you. I always say sell what you are passionate about in a way that you would want it marketed to you. Good luck!

Yes you can make money on and from eBay. I say on eBay when you actually sell a product to a buyer on the eBay site.

You can also make money from eBay using their affiliate program, eBay Partner Network. Just use their tools and you can be making money from eBay.

Here is to your success

Well, there's been quite a few posts on this one, but I thought I would give my 2 cents...

I've been selling on eBay off and on over the last 6.5 years and I have made decent money. I've sold tools, laptops, digital information products, websites and many other things.

So I have to say you can absolutely make money selling on eBay. So then the question becomes what will make money. Figuring out what you want to sell and researching it first is key. Also, sticking to it can make all the difference in the world.

HTH,
Clint

tons of people make money on ebay, start by selling a few things from around your house that you no longer use, you'll be surprised how easy it is to pick up and start doing quickly.

Hello,

I'm new to the forum. I've been an amateur seller on eBay since 2000. I just sold stuff when junk started piling up in house. I'm looking to get serious in the auction world.

Where can you get good products to sell? What niches are not over saturated?

Thank you for your help, and patience.

ivees27 wrote:Yes, I have only been selling for 3 months, I ony use dropshippers and have made a little over $600, which isn't so bad for no of pocket expense and no inventory. And the others are right, you have to research and see what is really selling and try to beat thier prices.

This is rich coming from a woman who takes people's money on eBay and doesn't send them their items.

Made $600??? More like STOLEN. You are a shady, SHADY woman and a crappy eBay seller to boot. Any advice from Ivees27 is garbage.

Thanks for the info all of you.

It's great to find out that people are earning a living selling on Ebay. I'm thinking about getting started but first I need to do at least some kind of research! This forum has a lot of good information available.

Thanks,
-Mike

Be careful with paypal, Transfer your money out of the paypal account to your bank account as soon you receive a payment.

:-D I think the key is to find items that you can get cheaply, even if they are used. They can provide a bigger profit. It's much easier to compete than with those selling new items. Check your local yard sales and thrift stores.

May be, in the beginning you can think of eBay as an extended showcase of your assets. Items from your (or dad's) brick-and-mortar business or items related to your hobbies and passions, something that you have easy access to. The key is to have good product knowledge as well as procurement opportunities. All the best.

What dropship company should I use? I believe I need 20 sales feedbacks first. I'd appreciate if you could help me with that by buying an ebook I have up for 1c

Thanks
