These days AC is hosted at LiquidWeb.com, although they do sell Shared Hosting they seem to specialise in dedicated hosting.

I'd recommend trying out http://vt6.co.uk, which ac used until a few months ago (we only moved as one of our sites got to big and needed a dedicated server). Hosting starts from £2.50 a month

Is the hosting only for one site?

Thanks Mark.
Initially I want it for 1 site. I want to try my hand at uploading and altering a site. I once bought an unlimted hosting account on ebay and got well burned. I need someone who is established and reliable.

I once made the same mistake and bought hosting on ebay. Never again - eBay and hosting do not go together!

Vt6.co.uk, - they've been established a few years & if you want to add more sites later you can upgrade to reseller packages start for only another £1

Also the owner James is pretty active on Webhostingtalk.com which is a good sign. It's always a good sign to search Webhostingtalk.com for any reviews before you signup up with a host.

I agree, Webhostingtalk is a great find to see how a host stands up.

GoDaddy has been good for me over the years for Domains and Hosting for numerous accounts. They even have some great free apps and software to add on to the hosting.
