Hi,
I am a power seller. The easiest way to become one is to sell more than 100 items per month. It doesn't matter of the value of these items, sell 100 ebooks for a penny and you now qualify to become a PS. |

Thanks for the tip! I was trying to get the value of my sales up. Didn't realise you could do it this way also.

| you say "sell 100 ebooks for a penny " doesn't the posting fee for ebay and fees for paypal make this a negative value transaction? |

It sure does. I've had people send me 30p before and paypal took the lot as their fee. I guess you could use this tactic, only if
- you were selling other higher value goods alone.
- drving traffic away from ebay to your own site
- all the ebooks had affiliate links within them.
Even then there's no guarantees & if your not careful
your may just be throwing money away. |

| You don't to read a book to become a powerseller, just start selling lots of expensive items. |

| I think you need to achieve certain sales amount in order to be awarded power seller, selling 100 ebooks at 1p might not be able to meet up with the requirement. |

| Being a powerseller doesn't however mean that you are at your most profitable, 4 of my accounts have recently lost their powerseller status due to a step change in my approach and they are now more profitable than when they were at PS status.. |

A friend of mine has just been awaded PS status - he sells about 30 items a month, but recently sold his wifes BMW for £19k, so his 3 montha average has shot up and got him in the club!
Becoming a powerseller can be difficult - you need to have a consistantly high turnover for 3 months, but once you have attained it, then only 100 items per month need to be sold tomaintain the minimal Bronze level.
Silver and above is where the useful benefits come in - particularly telephone support!

| Well I guess it is safe to say that if you are actually a powerseller, you are making a decent profit from ebay. Especially if you are maintaining a Bronze status. |

| I am a powerseller on eBay and it takes time and skill to get to this level. I am able to sell many items online and I have had no negative feedback. You need to make sure you have everything going great with your auctions and interact on the ebay forums. |

I am thinking of trying to attain Powerseller status. Are there may advantages to this or is it better to just remain a regular Ebay'er with lots of transactions? |
