Anyone tried BooCoo yet?

Alternatives to Ebay do exist, but some are more successful than others. Discuss your experience of Ebay alternatives here, such as Amazon Auctions, Ebid and CQOUT

I have actually sold a couple things on BooCoo which launched on June 21st 2010. BooCoo is very similar to eBay, but, with lower fees.

Boocoo.com is promoted on media sites, which share transactional fees from the online auctions. BooCoo's fees are 25% lower then eBay.

The site will be activated on newspaper and other media sites.

Anyone else on BooCoo?

Yes I'm there, I've been since two weeks before they went public and haven't sold a thing! I still have items posted there. I have not received 1 question nor had one sale, and these are items that sell good on ebay (I dread saying that too, because I want ebay to die!).

All the media attention isn't doing boocoo any good!
I wish they would start advertising on TV, because I refuse to pay fee's when they do start charging, if nothing is going to sell. I imagine everyone feels the same way and boocoo will just be a memory.

I had high hopes for them, but am losing my patience.

Congrats on your sales. It's nice to hear that SOMEONE has sold something there, but as I mentioned, I really wish they would start advertising on TV.

This is a new one. How's the traffic ratings to the site?

I tried doing a background check but I didn't really get that far since there is another Boocoo.com which happens to be a restuarant :)

Have you sold anything there yet? Any updates would be great...
