Hi! I'm not new to eBay. I use eBay here in our country. I would like to expand my market to the US so I can possible earn more. The problem is I can't accept Paypal. Paypal here in my country is limited.

What are the other alternatives?

Moneybookers is quite a popular choice & accepted in a few places where paypal isn't. Where are you based?

I checked the moneybookers' site and read the FAQs. It seems like a pretty good alternative to Paypal. It is way better than E-gold and Bidpay. I have a US bank account so maybe I can withdraw my funds there.

Oh by the way, I'm from SE Asia.

You need to be careful, though, and read the payment methods accepted by eBay. Obviously they want everyone to use PayPal as they own it. However, they no longer allow you to use Nochex, cash and quite a few others, not sure if Moneybookers is one of them.

Whatever you do stay away from stormpay. Ive been burned on their auction site and wasn't pleased with the response they had to my situation.

Yes, stay away from Stormpay. A lot of people are saying it's a scam.

I researched and found these sites:

auctioncheckout[.com]
bidpay[.com]
paymate[.com]

Just remove the [], I can't put links yet.

I just stick to Pay Pal. It works well for me. I've never once had a problem with them. I'm always suspicious of people who say, "Pay Pal suddenly close my account and froze my funds and won't tell me why".

I just don't buy it.

I've never heard of Paymate. Catchy name I'll have to check it out.

egold to stay away from them man! That site is easy to hack and if you loose your money you won't be able to get it back. Egold supports idea of helping is better luck next time.

I've got burned with them in the past when doing investments. Just thought I share my thoughts here.

Good points here. I thought there were a lot of payment processors? but on this thread there seems to be only one that people trust PayPal! I find it a little disappointing as having just started I am not happy with their fee structure and had hoped that other methods would be available at much cheaper rates. Guess I must be wrong?

Ive used Paypal and moneybookers, however with Ebay telling all buyers Paypal is the safest way to pay, the buyers are easily led and buy in to this so if you do offer an alterative it will result in fewer sales - I know Ive done it!!
