I'm doing research and want to get started using a dropshipper. How do you choose the right product and make sure it will sell for enough that you will make a profit and not end up losing money?
Thanks for the advice!

in simple terms you need to research the market and know your competition!

Drop-shipping is quite a specialist area to make serious money from, and you are always going to be in competition with your suppliers other customers.

The key is to offer something that your competition don't - a cheaper price maybe - if you work form home by yourself you will have much lower costs than a small shop with 2 employees, or a better service as you can devote more time to your sales process etc. Also look at how your competitors are selling the same product - what can you learn from it, and be objective in viewing it - what have they done well, or what do you feel you could do better with?

It also helps if you are selling a product that you know and trust, rather than something you only want to make a profit from. Look closer to home for inspiration - hobbies, interests, your workplace etc - what do you already have around you that you think you could actively promote?
