|
|
I was selling an eBook called "how to make a full time income on eBay"
There was many other people selling the same eBook, so i decided to try and sell it myself.
Next day, it was removed, how come!? the others are still there... |

Hi Inx,
Possible reasons include:
- Were resell rights included. Do you have permission to resell the ebook?
- Did you copy someone elses item description and images?
- It could be a competing seller who has complained and eBay has not invested the listing properly.
What reason did eBay give for removing the item? They normally specify one when they send you an email with notification of removal. |

I agree - you have possibly answered your own question if youhave noticed that others are still being sold. eBay will shoot first and tend to ignore questions later if you query their actions. It is a very easy, if immoral way, to gain an advantage over your competition, although not a sustainable method!
Genuine copyright is a also a grey area, even if bought with "resell rights". There is no real way of knowing if the person you bought it from actually has the right to offer it this way - only the original author can offer that. |

Listings are removed as they are reported via other Members, it could be a competitor or you may have listed in the wrong category.
However, eBay are now taking the stance that feedback gained through selling 1p eBooks can be removed if the seller just uses it to create a false selling history before listing high value items.
eBook Listings are frowned upon by many. |

It sounds as though one of your competion reported you, I have several auctions cancelled because someone purchased the item from me with resale rights and was claiming to ebay they where the author.
A few curt emails to the buyer and the nonesense stopped |
