Hi,
I am about to start selling my domain names on ebay, is there any advice you veterans can offer me. I have never sold anything on Ebay before, and i was hoping someone could give my some advice for someone just getting started.
Thanks |

| Suggest putting a site on there first, otherwise sell them through the domain selling sites as that is probably where the better price is going to be realised if the domains are good. |

| There are better marketplaces than eBay for selling domains like Sedo. But if you are going to sell a domain or any thing else on eBay for that matter you should try listing it as a no reserve. Only do this though if you are willing to loose it for what ever your starting price is. But then again no one ever said you have to start the bidding off at a buck. You could start it off at what ever you want for it but because you don’t have a reserve price you can legitimately call it a no reserve auction. No reserve auctions get a lot more attention. This is because they are normally the best deals on any auction site. If someone puts a reserve on something it is normally because they don't want to loose any money which is basically like selling something for retail and not normally a good deal. But some people sell cars and boats and start them off at a buck and no reserve and make more money than if they had put a reserve on it in the first place just because of the amount of people no reserve auctions attract and the competition that results from all those people wanting the same item. |

| Sedo, DNForum, digitalpoint, and sitepoint are some of the first ones that come to mind. Just watch out for that fake PR... |

I agree with omgbay. DNForum is the best in my opinion.
Good luck. |

If you're just starting out, my advice is to research, research, RESEARCH! Always find out as much as you can about your new market, and sell accordingly (or not, as the case may be).
Good luck with your new venture! |
