I'm trying to find out what is something easy I could sell on ebay right now to make a few extra bucks. I'm really interested in digital delivery items like ebooks or mystery envelopes. Has anyone tryed this or have any suggestions?

Ebooks are great to sell on ebay, but you need to do them in a big enough quanity to make any money. If your serious about selling ebooks, I'd recommend checking out Planetsms ebook on the subject.

Have a look at http://www.ebaygoldmine.org/ - it's regularly updated with some nice leads as to what is selling for over it's RRP.

There is another post on this site that covers digital products that you may want to have a look at!

It was amazing to find out the popularity of ebay and how much people are making money and how convinient it has become to trade. I am searching for good books and knowledge avaiable online to guide me to start trading on ebay. THANKS

One place to start is with eBay pulse: http://pulse.ebay.co.uk

You can find eBay pulse to find out the most popular searches - this should give you some indication to products in demand.

how do i use pulse to find all the top searches in a sub-category? e.g. sporting goods > fishing

ah sorry ignore the question above. i figured it out. you need to use the drop down once and then let the page load and then use it again and you will see the subsections there.

is pulse available on the USA website too?

The US pulse link is here - http://pulse.ebay.com/ - but it tends to be full of eBooks, mystery auctions and the odd celebrity or weird item.

thanks for the link steve.

one thing i didn't realise first time was you can actually drill down to sub sub categories too

e.g. sporting goods > fishing > saltwater

it was interesting to see what people are searching for!

its a great tool.
