What products produce the best profits on ebay? I'd imagine electrical is extremely competitive. Is one better focussing on big ticket items?
Thanks,

Hi, why not check out the ebay pulse to find items in demand?

click in your browser and enter pulse.ebay followed by your local extension, be that .com or .co.uk etc.

You will then be able to see the most watched items, most searched for items and the largest shops. At the bottom of the page look for the link:

See more eBay Pulse Categories...

Click that and check out the categories and sub-categories for even more revelations

Best of luck, Barry

@dudepeter: To know what products are selling well on eBay, you can also try the following:

1) Check out the popular searches and most popular products on eBay:

Popular searches: http://keyword-index.ebay.com/keyword-index.html
Best selling products: http://product-index.ebay.com/best_selling_1.html

2) Perform completed listings searches for products or brand names to see the conversion rate and average selling price.

To do a completed listings search, simply click the Advanced Search button next to the main eBay search box. Enter your search keywords as usual, and then check the Completed Listings box. Hit search and you'll see historical data for the previous 30 days. Successful items are in green; unsuccessful items are in red.

Hope that helps :)
